We are excited to announce a new addition to the Energi Simulation Summit 2026: the CCUS Workshop, co-hosted with the Global CCS Institute.
The workshop will take place on November 19, 2026, at The Westin Tokyo in Japan, with both in-person and virtual participation. This new industry-focused event will bring together local experts from major corporations, including Mitsubishi Corporation, JOGMEC, INPEX, Marubeni, MODEC, JCCS, and ENEOS Xplora. To provide a glimpse of another subsurface energy system, Professor Hadi Hajibeygi from Delft University of Technology will share key scientific breakthroughs and global pilot testing for underground hydrogen storage.
Don't miss this unique opportunity to network with industry leaders, engage in technical discussions, and gain valuable insight into how these organizations are helping shape the future of Japan's energy sector and the global advancement of CCUS technologies.
The workshop will immediately follow the Energi Simulation Summit 2026, taking place at the same venue on November 17–18, 2026, creating three consecutive days of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and networking among researchers, industry leaders, and energy professionals from around the world.
Please note that this is a registration only event.
Registration is free.
This will be a hybrid workshop, with participants joining in-person or online.
