RYOSUKE OKUNO is a professor in the Hildebrand Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, where he holds the H. B. (Burt) Harkins, Jr. Professorship in Petroleum Engineering and the Energi Simulation Industrial Research Chair on Sustainable Energy Expansion. His research focuses on enhanced oil recovery, carbon capture, utilization and storage, unconventional oil and gas resources, thermodynamics, multiphase behavior, and reservoir simulation.
